Visit to TMSS Cancer Center (TCC)

On 01 June 2026, Enayetuddin Md. Kaiser Khan, Managing Director of Sonia Group, President of HOPES Foundation, and Honorary Adviser of TMSS; Dr. M. Afzal Hossain, Emeritus Professor and Adviser to the Board of Trustees of Pundra University of Science and Technology, Bogura, and TMSS; Mr. Abdur Razzaque, Executive Member of HOPES Foundation and Chairman of ARMA Group; and Dr. Md. Solaiman Ali Fakir, Adviser to HOPES Foundation and Former Professor of Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, visited the TMSS Cancer Center.



During the visit, Mr. Md. Matiur Rahman, Chief Medical Physicist and Assistant Project Director, provided the distinguished guests with a comprehensive overview of the Cancer Center’s modern treatment facilities, advanced technologies, and state-of-the-art medical equipment. He particularly highlighted the features and benefits of the Radixact TomoTherapy system. This cutting-edge radiation therapy technology has recently been introduced at the TMSS Cancer Center and is capable of delivering more precise, effective, and advanced treatment for cancer patients.


The visitors highly appreciated the Center’s overall infrastructure, modern medical technologies, and patient-friendly services. They noted that TMSS Cancer Center is providing internationally standard cancer care at a comparatively affordable cost, making it a significant blessing for cancer patients across the country. In particular, they emphasized that advanced technologies such as Radixact TomoTherapy enable patients to receive world-class treatment within Bangladesh, offering a more cost-effective alternative to seeking treatment abroad, especially in India.



The visit served as an important occasion to express confidence and satisfaction regarding TMSS Cancer Center’s contribution to the healthcare sector and its pioneering role in expanding access to modern cancer treatment services in Bangladesh.
