The HOPES Foundation successfully hosted its 23rd Scholarship Award Ceremony and Annual General Meeting 2024 on December 13, 2024, at the TSC Complex, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. The event, held in two phases, highlighted the organization’s commitment to empowering promising students and advancing its vision for the future.
The first phase commenced with a vibrant registration, followed by a motivational speech that inspired attendees. A recitation from the Holy Quran by Md. Yeasin Ali set a solemn tone for the proceedings. Dr. Md. Hasan Ali, Joint Secretary of HOPES, introduced the foundation’s mission, emphasizing its role in supporting underprivileged but talented students. The ceremony also featured heartfelt expressions from past and present scholars, sharing their transformative journeys with HOPES’ support.
Guests and donors were acknowledged for their invaluable contributions, followed by the much-anticipated scholarship distribution, where deserving students received recognition for their academic potential. The evening also saw the launch of the new HOPES website, presented by Dr. Kumar Bishwajit, Visual Art Director of KB Studio, showcasing a modern platform to expand the foundation’s reach and impact.
The second phase focused on the Annual General Meeting, where Dr. Rowshan Ara Begum presented the financial report and budget, providing transparency and future planning insights. Enayetuddin Md. Kaiser Khan, President of HOPES, delivered an inspiring address, reflecting on the foundation's achievements and setting ambitious goals for the coming year.
The event concluded with a photo session, capturing the memorable moments of a day that celebrated the spirit of hope, unity, and progress. This gathering marked another milestone in HOPES’ journey, reaffirming its dedication to empowering the next generation through education and support.
